Стаття присвячена аналізу грушевськіани М. Кордуби. Показано різноплановість грушевськознавчих праць ученого (бібліографічні замітки, розлогі рецензії, ювілейні дописи, некрологічні та меморіальні статті). Доведено, що історіографічні студії М. Кордуби постають спробами інтелектуальної біографії, яким притаманне всебічне зображення досліджуваної постаті в контексті епохи. The article is devoted to M. Korduba՚s comprehensive analysis of Hrushevsky study works. Considering the epistolary, historiographic and data from the diaries a conclusion was made about the reasons and logic of the scholar՚s appeal to the heritage of his teacher. The scholar was proved to have emphasized the need to popularize M. Hrushevsky՚s ideas, critically analyze his historiographical innovations and summarize his versatile works to commemorate his anniversary events as well as shaping the scientific and civil phenomenon of Hrushevsky in memorial texts. The article demonstrates versatility of Hrushevsky studies of M. Korduba which is abundantly rich in bibliographical notes on scientific and scientific-popular works, comprehensive reviews on volumes of «History of Ukraine-Rus», encyclopedic entries, anniversary notes («M. Hrushevsky (On the 25-years anniversary of literary acti-vity)» (1910), «Academician M. Hrushevsky as a historian (on his anniversary)» (1926), memories («Prof. M. Hrushevsky during his Lviv visit (personal memories)» as well as obituary notes («M. Hrushevsky as a historian (on his death)», «M. Hrushevsky as a scientist», M. Hrushevsky as a scientist and organizer of scientific activity. The conclusions highlight that the underlying principle of M. Korduba՚s studies of Hrushevsky was the understanding of the priority of scientific interests that consequently enabled the scientific dialogue and the exchange of ideas between the teacher and his student. It has been proved that historiographical works of M. Korduba were close to the genre of intellectual biography that were not just an appraisal, but rather a critical perception, contextual analysis, aimed at demonstration of not the achievements, but also the fallacies of the scholar. Such a methodological approach of Myron Korduba turned out to be particularly prolific and ensured the popularity of his works in the field of Hrushevsky studies that merit their relevance even today. The article points at the importance of comprehensive recon-struction of historiographical heritage of M. Korduba with its theoretical and narrative components. |
